These are the Girls highlights of the District Meet.. We want to congratulate our girls Track & Field Team. They competed in the District Track Meet this past Saturday and had an amazing night. Congratulations goes out to Alysha Ramirez, Kumary Castaneda, Camila Hernandez, and Ashley Gallegos for placing 2nd in the 4×1 and qualifying

Track Season Begins!!!

It is with complete excitement that I announce our Tigers went into PSJA stadium yesterday with a positive and determined mindset and came out victorious! It was our first track meet of the season and the popular medal for our Tigers was GOLD!!! Our young men began strong winning in the field events and our energy

Strength and Conditioning!!!

Strength and Conditioning Continues Until 7/30/15 The athletic department will continue strength and conditioning sessions, Monday through Thursday, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at the athletic field house. Valley View High School will have three members of the Boys Tiger Track team representing at the Region IV Conferance Championships scheduled for Friday May 1st and Saturday May 2nd. Robert Rosales qualified in two events, the High Jump and the Triple Jump. The High Jump is scheduled to begin at 9am on Friday followed


  Robert Rosales will represent Valley View High School in two jumping events, the High Jump and the Triple Jump. Robert placed 2nd in the High Jump and followed that up with a District Championship in the Triple Jump. Robert was Valley Views only District Champion. ALFREDO RUIZ, Remember the Name

Alfredo Ruiz has set a New Freshman Record in the 3200m Run, breaking David Montalvo’s previous record of 10 minutes 45 seconds. Alfredo broke the record during the Finals event of the 3200m Run at the 31-5A District Championship running an impressive 10 minutes 28 seconds to come out in 7th place. CONGRATULATIONS ALFREDO ON


Valley View Regional Qualifier Robert Rosales WINS DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP in Triple Jump with a jump of 41’6 advancing to San Antonio. He also qualified in the High Jump clearing 6’2″ advancing in 2nd place.  

Cantu wins Silver in Shot Put, Advances to Regionals

SAN ANTONIO BOUND! Ferdi Cantu advances with a Personal Best Throw of 46’8″ . Ferdi takes home the Silver Medal in the Shot Put. On behalf of Coach Angel Saenz, “Extremely proud of my thrower Ferdi who placed 2nd at District in the Shot put. We will be competing at regionals in two weeks!”
